Vietnam visas can be obtained in two ways:
- Visa on Arrival: This visa is collected at the airport upon arrival and is only available for travelers arriving by air, border gates and sea ports
- Visa from a Vietnam Embassy/Consulate: This option is especially useful for those who live far from a Vietnam Embassy or Consulate. Applicants do not need to visit the Embassy or mail their passport.

1. Download Vietnam Immigration Entry & Exit Form
The first form is the Vietnamese Visa application form, also known as the Entry and Exit form. This form is mandatory for all travelers using the visa on arrival option.
– First, fill out the form, then sign it. Refer to the guide here.
– Attach a 4×6 cm photo to the top left corner + prepare 01 an additional photo of the same size.
– Prepare cash for the visa fee:
- 25 USD for a single entry visa
- 50 USD for a 1-3 months multiple entry visa
- 95 USD for a 6 months multiple entry visa
- 135 USD for a 1-year multiple entry visa

- Use the date format: DD/MM/YYYY (e.g., 01 Jan 2024).
- Port of arrival must be an airport.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. If it is not, you cannot board the flight.
