1. Information Required to Apply for an Vietnam E-visa

This is the information needed to process your Vietnam E-visa application.

Required Documents for Vietnam E-visa

  1. Portrait Photo Requirements
  • Must be of high quality, with no shadows or blurriness
  • Must be taken within the last 6 months
  • Must be taken facing straight ahead
  • No glasses or headwear to ensure the face is fully visible and unobstructed
  • Must be the original image, not a photo taken from another source

2. Main Passport Page Photo Requirements

  • A clear image of the main page of your passport, showing all personal information, is required. 
  • The photo should be taken with no cut-off edges, ensuring all details are fully visible and not tilted. 
  • The immigration system will scan the applicant’s passport and portrait; if the image quality does not meet requirements, an update will be requested. 

This can lead to delays and may prevent results from being issued on time if a re-submission is necessary. For best results, it is recommended to use a high-quality scan or a high-resolution image file.

  • If you’ve visited Vietnam within the last year, please provide us with the address and phone number of your accommodation for the first day of entry if your journey involves multiple locations or cities. Or you can just take a picture of visa stamp in your passport and send to us.  
  1. Date of Arrival and Date of Exit
  • The dates you plan to enter and leave Vietnam
  1. Type of Visa
  • Choose the visa type you need, such as single-entry or multiple-entry

Once we receive all necessary information, we will send you a payment link to finalize your application. Upon payment, we will submit your visa application to the immigration system.

4. Entry Requirements for Vietnam E-Visa or VOA

When entering Vietnam with either an E-Visa or a VOA, you need to ensure the following depending on your point of entry:

General Entry Requirements

  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months (If your passport has less than 6 months of validity, please contact us for assistance)
  • Print out your Vietnam E-visa or Visa on Arrival (VOA) before arrival
  • Prepare 2 passport-sized photos to attach to the entry form if using a VOA (Applicable for Vietnam
  • E-visa holders with a Chinese passport)
  • Customers should prepare two 4×6 cm photos when entering with a Visa on Arrival (VOA).
  • Passengers with a Chinese passport entering with an E-visa must prepare two photos to attach to the entry form.

Note: After entry, please check the information on the entry stamp to ensure the immigration officer has entered the correct valid date.

By Air

  • Present your Vietnam E-visa or VOA approval letter at the immigration counter upon arrival
  • Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry
  • Carry printed copies of your visa and approval letter
